I consider that my homeopathic journey began in 1994, when I first started giving remedies to people during my student days. I attended the London College of Classical Homeopathy in Central London for five years. I graduated in 1999, at the same time moving to Chagford in Devon, where I still reside and practice. My training was as a classical homeopath, to learn the fundamentals, but gradually I began bringing in more esoteric ideas.
Being a postman for the Royal Mail, raising a daughter, and playing the drums in various bands got in the way of my practice for a few years, but I have slowly but steadily been building things up since Lockdown. My practice has matured from its basic beginnings, and I find myself with over 30 years of gathering knowledge, both in the field and in study. There is no greater teacher than experience, and I have also been using homeopathic remedies on myself exclusively for the last 5 years with excellent results. I am now 59 years old. I have had my fair share of setbacks over the years, and homeopathy has always stood me in good stead to overcome them.
Detoxing is very important to me. I have undertaken many detoxes and cleanses over the years, which I feel contributes to good health, and is a part of my practice. I also practice yoga and the Taoist approach to health and longevity.
I now use the chakra system as my main guide to disease, being as it is a reliable gauge of where the misalignment is. I also use astrology as it is a useful tool to learn various aspects of a person, from psychological to physical areas, and adverse life dynamics. I use an alchemical approach as a guide towards integrating greater awareness as the healing journey unfolds and issues are resolved. I treat the whole person first and foremost, utilising other remedies to support at the emotional and physical levels on a more weekly and daily basis.
